We finally heard back from Gene and Eddie... Them boys have been busy!!!

RUSTIC WHITETHORN RUN at CloudWalker Ranch , a unique,
one-of-a-kind retreat, rustic camping, Teardrop Homesteader themed, off the
grid get-together for all hardy teardroppers & friends in the remote hills of
northwestern California, between the Kings Range and the Pacific Ocean ...
no electricity and no flush toilets! If you think you've got what it takes to rough
it and have fun, set this date aside. It will be alot of fun!!!

Remember... This gathering is one week before the Dam Gathering and would make a great addition to your travels if you've got the time to make both gatherings...

Gene & Eddie's 1st Rustic Whitethorn Run was a blast!!!
They labored hard during this past year working on their property to ready themselves for their first gathering and the fruits showed!!!
Gene took me for a spin in his little Toyota 4x4 pickup, which just so happened to be powered by a 350 small block. (Lots of hang time)
The cookshack was awesome!!!
Thanks Gene & Eddie!!!
We will be there for the 2nd RWR for sure!!!


First Light, First Morning... Joanie and I were the only ones up, it was just after 5:30am

I was able to play with one of George's new Pizza Ovens... Thanks Kev!!!
It's True... The very first pizza ever baked in Kev's new Pizza Oven was Vegan!!!



But Not The 2nd One... Sausage, Salami Chunk & Mushroom.



Wanting a crunchier crust than the Vegan had, I Upped The Coal Count Just A Wee Bit.
I could hear the pizza sizzling at the 12 minute mark... That's a good sound to hear!!!

(I doubt anyone will come close to matching his batter)
