We went to Shasta and left early do to rain a bit to much rain. We pull with a Carolla and we bottomed out where they put speed bumps and dips.

We are looking as seeing if we can find a truck to pull it with but money is tight. My wife can not drive a stick and our old truck is on it's last legs 239,000 miles Toyota. I was looking at some SUV's but sence the Shasta down poor Wife wants a truck for all the wet stuff to go.

Are there dips, speed bumps, high center dirt roads??

I it less wet in July I have not lived in Northern CA for over 10 yrs and have forgotten the weather patterns.

Ron,
The Corolla will be fine. The group area on the lower level in the trees (Just behind the meadw) is dirt (mostly redwood needles) but it's flat... You guys will be fine.
The weather in July is nice and mild here. If we get any rain, it's usually just a brief shower that time of year.
I don't think we had any precipitation during IRG1.0 and we might have had just a brief shower one afternoon during IRG2.0, but I really don't remember.
I'll say this, if we did... It wasn't nothing to sweat.

Also, people should know that if you want to camp in the meadow, tow vehicles will not be allowed into the area and you will need to park away from your trailer.  Usually someone brings a dolly to pull a trailer into the meadow and typically there are some to borrow, but you won't be allowed to drive/park in there.  Doug
