Just came back from a FULL day at the Grove.  I rented it today for my class of third-fourth graders.  There were 18 kids and about 10 adults and we had the run of the whole place.  The morning was a typical one with low clouds and a cloud cover, which at exactly noon gave way to sunshine and warm air.  We had a great time roasting hot dogs, toasting marshmellows, and playing away at the grove.  Two of the Park Interpreters, Lori & Kim, did some ecosystem lessons with us, and we did some of our own forest activities as well.  All in all, a Fine time at the grove.

The fire pit benches are back in place now.  The main table by the cookshack was moved out slightly, and is now in a different place, but it is basically as BEAUTIFUL as ever.  I'll be going back out this afternoon for some R&R and to start planning what the next IRG will look like.
