I have the registration form all filled out but haven't sent it yet.  I have a couple of questions.   From the photos, it looks as if everyone camps where they want to.  It doesn't look like there area any set camping spaces.  Is that correct?  Also, i may need to have a tent depending on how many of my family (kids) want to go.  That isn't a problem, is it?  I really want to go since my trailer wasn't finished for the first IRG.

There are set sites but the bottom section is open so it is easy to double/triple up. There is plenty of room for a tent. I had one plus my tear at IRG1.

Tents are no problem at the IRG.  Spaces can hold anywhere from 3-6 Teardrops depending on the size and location.  The main problem is where to park the vehicles that go with the site so they are not on green vegetation or in the meadow area.  There are NO assigned spots in advance.... as a matter of fact, I put signs on the sites last time with Letters so people would know where others were located.  Campsites have fireboxes in them and most people shared these.  Most of the campsites have ample space for multiple TDs and  tents, and the area on the map labeled "tent" is because posts prevent us from rolling any TD's that far back, but they can be easily stepped over for those with tents.

You going to make it? It's the experience of a lifetime if you haven't camped in the redwoods before. I'm going for a second time and I'm looking forward to it like a little kid looks forward to the end of school. I just can't wait.
