Well we're down to about two weeks to the IRG. I plan on driving up on Wed 7/23 and arriving early afternoon. I see from the tentative schedule the gates open at 2pm, is this still accurate? If we arrive earlier do we just line up or what?

How about sites? Are they to be assigned or do we just pick a level spot somewhere? Without having seen it in person and so few actual sites showing on the map it's a bit hard to picture where all the vehicles and trailers will fit.

Looking forward to seeing a lot of neat trailers. And I'm looking forward to actually trying out my racers Smiley

Doug,
We've changed the time gates open from 2:00pm to 10:00am.
Folks will come in the gate and be directed to Registration, from there you will be directed where to go.
There is plenty of room for the teardrops, but we have concerns about parking and how to organize it so as to not create a bottleneck situation with the cars as Pamplin Grove's road is not a drive thru or loop... More like a giant backwards "G"...
More info on the parking will be posted after my return from the grove this Saturday. (Goin' to a wedding there)

Dean, do you need any help with set-up or registration on Thursday? We will be in Eureka Wednesday afternoon & staying at the KOA that night.

So, when are most people showing up, Wednesday , Thursday or Friday?  We were planning on arriving some time Thursday morning, hopefully, if all goes good.  I hope thrusday arrivals will not be late or be cast out to the outer rim of the camp area! Joke.

Get here safely and when you can.  We arranged events for each and every day so there would be variety of things for people to do/see.  The campsites are beautiful and you can be sure we'll fit you in.  For late arrivals, like after dark 10 pm -ish, Dean and I propose you just pull in to the first spot by the kiosk cuz you won't want to try and drive around and set up camp in the dark.  The next morning you can find your way around.  Dean and I will probably set up in the first campsite (Camp A/A+) for ease getting in and out, to handle the larger trailers, and to deal with the later arrivals.  If you know you'll be arriving after dark, really late, don't ring the bell, but walk down the road, with your flashlight, where will have the combo posted so you can go back up and let yourself in.  Anyone needing the gate combo early can PM me.
